About the camp
We are a small camp
with six bungalows located inside the valley on a ledge in the
hillside, slightly removed from the grouping of other camps. Because
of its setting Reflections commands expansive views of both the sea
and the surrounding mountains. We are close to the beach - just a
seven minute walk over a pleasant path that takes you through a
forest abundant with Red Pines, Carab and Manzanita trees, patches
of thyme, lilac and many other wild flowers.
If
you are on a budget and would rather set up your own tent it’s no
problem – we have ample space for you. Just find a place under the
shade of an olive or pine tree. Or stay in one of our own tents
which are equipped with comfy mattresses, sheets and blankets.

About the bungalows
Spread
out in an area separate from the rest of the camp, all of our
bungalows have two layers of bamboo for the roof with a water
impermeable membrane between them. The ceilings are high and open at
the ends allowing air to flow through freely. Between the balcony
and the sleeping area is a half wall equipped with curtains to allow
the feeling of openness with the nature around you as well as
privacy when needed. Your view peers out to the blue expanse of the
sea and to the southern walls that tower over the valley – a perfect
setting for quiet contemplation or a chat with a companion.

The restaurant and dining area
The
center piece of the camp is here. Beginning with the kitchen, we
have tried to bring the camp into commune with nature as much as
possible. Along these lines two half walls are arched allowing
plenty of clean air and a healthy environment.
Shaded by off-white canvas over olive and pine wood posts, our
dining area is a 30 square meter wooden platform that leads off from
the kitchen and as one friend put it, “feels as if you are floating
within the valley”. The canvas is rolled down during the day to
provide relief from the heat and rolled up at night so we can dine
on delicious Turkish Cuisine under the stars by the light of candles
and gas lamps.

All our meals are
cooked with fresh vegetables purchased from either local villagers
or the village market in Fethiye. To start your day out in style
we’ll prepare a wonderful ‘kahvaltý’, or traditional Turkish
breakfast, as well as other delicious surprises you may be missing
from home. Feel free to eat as much as you want to fuel your day of
activity, or just enough to get you and the book you’ve been longing
to read over to one of our beautiful Turkish hammocks for a day |

About the bathroom
According to Lonely Planet, as well as many others, we have the most
beautiful toilet to be seen. Our bathroom was designed, like
everything else in the camp, with the idea of being as close as
possible with nature. Filled with hydrangea, ferns, ginger, cinammon
and Japanese flowers, it is perched on a ledge above a small valley
beneath the shade of pines. Enjoy the mountain views or even a
candle lit shower in the early evening.
